This basic approach involves using CPA networks to earn a profit from your Thank You pages. CPA stands for cost per action. Advertisers are paying for leads, and some are paying on a cost per action basis. When your Web site visitor takes an action - usually filling out a form requesting more information, you get paid. Sometimes the action will merely be providing their zip code, name and email address. Other times full contact information, including phone number will be requested. As a general rule, the more information asked for, the more you get paid as a CPA affiliate. Payment can run from $1 to over $50 per lead. You could offer a themed free report or simply an ezine subscription to Web site visitors. On the Thank You page, the subscriber encounters a CPA offer related to the theme of the free report or theme of your ezine and Web site. Be aware that you could specifically create a free report around a theme with a very high paying CPA offer.
You do not need a very high conversion rate on CPA offers to make your advertising By self-funding I mean you earn enough to pay for the cost of directing traffic to your site (maybe via Adsense or other pay-per-click). Give this strategy serious thought, but remember that your Thank You pages are prime virtual real estate.

This program, Private Phone, has a limit of 10,000 voicemail messages. Quite a contrast. The phone number provided in the free service can not be used to receive calls, only take voicemail messages. There is a paid service where you can have the calls re-directed to any phone you designate. I like having this in my marketing arsenal, because you can use a phone number and/or Web site url in your advertising to increase your response rate. If, for instance, you were placing an ad through Craigslist in a specific city, you could get a Private Phone number with an area code to match that of the city where you are advertising. A stingy old lawyer who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness was determined to prove wrong the saying, "You can't take it with you." After much thought and consideration, the old ambulance-chaser finally figured out how to take at least some of his money with him when he died. He instructed his wife to go to the bank and withdraw enough money to fill two pillow cases. He then directed her to take the bags of money to the attic and leave them directly above the spot where his bed was in the bedroom below. His plan: When he passed away, he would reach out and grab the bags on his way to heaven. Several weeks after the funeral, the deceased lawyer's wife, up in the attic cleaning, came upon the two forgotten pillow cases stuffed with cash. "Oh, that darned old fool," she exclaimed.
