Many of you are already familiar with Craigslist: http://craigslist.org With more than 4 billion page views per month it is the largest classified ad site in the world. It is organized around 190 sub-sites defined by city. Depending on the nature of the traffic or lead generation you want to do, you probably could apply this basic technique to all 190 sub-sites. Post a press release and an advertisement for services in the relevant section of the Craigslist site for a suitable city. Craigslist has a restricition that they only allow one "similar" post per valid email across their entire network. This means you need a different email account for each ad. I know my web site host offers unlimited email accounts so this requirement is not onerous. Also, they do not accept posts from Yahoo, Hotmail, or info domains. Trafficology reported that their member who used this method was able to increase his web traffic by more than 20 times what he typically received on a daily basis. By the way it only took 15 minutes before he noticed a significant increase in traffic. Here is a suggestion of how you could apply this technique: Go to ClickBank. Find a product that would fit into one of the listing categories at Craigslist. Write a free report, available only on autoresponder relevant to the category and ClickBank product. When you drive traffic to your Web page, capture the name and email address through the free report. You should be able to repeat this process over and over for a multitude of products and categories.
